They do have a shuttle that goes from the hotel to the main Strip area (for a fee) and a free shuttle to and from the Airport and to Town Square.
But be forewarned that it is pretty far south of the main Strip on Las Vegas Blvd, far beyond normal walking distance, so having a car would be a good idea if you're planning to do anything outside of the hotel and casino property. We stayed at the South Point Hotel for the first time a few weeks ago and were very impressed.
